This category has been introduced to group all Regular8-cameras/-projectors/-... . Some of the devices are multi-format ones as they're also suited for Super 8-film or other formats.

Please note that most "Regular 8"-cameras are in fact "Double 8"-cameras. However there are also a few cameras that take 8mm wide "Type R"-material. In the English-speaking countries most have these cameras have been referred to as "Straight 8"-cameras. However some of these cameras have been called "Single 8 m/m"-cameras. Hence some web-pages mix up these cameras with the "Single 8"-cameras for "8mm Type S". In order to avoid this confusion, all "Regular 8"-cameras are simply called categorized as "Regular8".
