Comments[edit]
Export version similar to the 1x8 C-2 (that came with Cyrillic labels - Cyrillic "C" = Latin "S")
Improved version of the "1x8S-1".
According to this webpage 301102 exemplars of this camera have been constructed, which makes this camera Zenit's most successful model.
The camera has a shutter angle of 180 degrees. This makes figuring the shutter speed very easy. At 18fps, the shutter speed is 1/36, at 24fps the shutter speed is 1/48. The camera does not read the ASA/ISO of the film, but rather it has a default setting at ISO 50. So if you use iso 100, you set the exposure at -1 at Using ISO 200 you set the exposure at -2, at ISO 25 you set it at +1. These are based on not having the filter engaged. The daylight filter with take another 2/3 of a stop.
