Q: I have just got one of these projectors. Everywhere says its a silent projector so why does it have a mini jack plug (where you would plug in a speaker) on the rear?

A: Not sure. It's definitely a silent projector. This plug can be anything: Additional grounding connector, ... . Unfortunately it's not mentioned in the manuals that I've found on-line.
