Focussing with the Iscomorphot 8/1.5x

There are several webpages that claim that one has to set the camera to infinity and then to focus only with the Iscomorphot (like with the Iscoramas, e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kYtKwN7ARv8 ). However the Iscomorphot was defined for fix-focus-cameras that aren't set to infinity. And I've used the Iscomorphot on my Fujica P2 (also fix-focus and set to something like 6m instead of infinity) and got sharp results. And there are also webpages like http://vimeo.com/groups/anamorphic/forumthread:14318 where an Edgar Maguyon writes: "I think it may be the taking lens as being set to infinity isn't the sharpest position; sharper b/n 3 & 6 M." or http://vimeo.com/15367178 with the comment "I had better results setting my main lens to 30ft." --Jpolzfuss 05:08, 21 February 2012 (PST)
