Comments[edit]
The original Wilcam was based on the 16mm CP16 news cameras reduced for S8. Designed primarily for television news gathering it used rubber belts for the external 200/400 foot magazine so that the camera would run quietly. Williamson Camera Company was run by Geoffrey Williamson who won a technical achievement Oscar for camera innovations.
