OPTASOUND MOTORIZED EDITING TABLE

A PRECISION INSTRUMENT FOR EDITING SUPER 8mm SOUND AND FILM

The OPTASOUND MOTORIZED EDITING TABLE is shipped completely assembled and ready for use. It is available in 2 gang (4 plate) and 4 gang (8 plate) configuration. The table is completely motorized-drives and take-ups-with both fixed and variable speed operation. Hand cranking is completely eliminated. Second viewer option for A & B rolling film. The sync bloc, sliding sound head assembly, rewind arms, and viewer are all made of heavy gauge anodized aluminum or non-magnetic stainless steel.

FILM & TAPE SAFETY FEATURES TO AVOID DAMAGE TO FILM OR TAPE

a) Safety Sprockets: Each sprocket tooth is peened and hardened—no sharp edges

b) Sprocket Cheeks: Shouldered to eliminate contact with film emulsion or tape oxide

c) Safety Rollers: Shouldered to eliminate contact with film emulsion or tape oxide.

d) Reverse Cut Retainers: Locks film and tape on sprocket without pressure on emulsion or oxide.

e) Editorial Wind: Mark film and tape on base (not the oxide or emulsion side as with non-professional viewers)
