It is easy to modify this camera to allow filming at 24 fps, see the instructions here: Minolta: how to modify XL-42, XL-64 to add 24 fps Like the XL84, an underrated camera, with manual exposure override not dependent upon meter operation. Manual setting can be made even if meter is dead. No flash plug.
