Update Aug 2010 - Redjohn
I have recently acquired one of these off Ebay for just a few pounds. The camera is built like a battle ship and is compatible, I believe, with film speeds up to 160/250 ASA using a sliding pin in the film chamber to detect the cartridge slot length. It should have no trouble exposing Ektachrome 64 or the newer Ektachrome 100D but may require a two stop ND filter for the latter if used in bright sun light.
The camera does have the film chamber filter sensing pin and a small control on the right hand side of the camera that has three settings for metering. Off, on daylight and on tungsten light. The latter setting also switches out the correction filter with exposure correction between the two settings.
I was looking forward to trying this camera with some film but beware the control for adjusting the exposure on the left hand side of the camera. There is a dial for adjustment of one or two stops over and on stop under exposure. After little use the control failed. This switch is very flimsy. I am now having to open the camera up do do some kind of repair as this has caused total metering failure.
