Comments[edit]

Predecessor of the Lomo Aurora Super 2. The version sold in the USSR has got a "GOST"-scale (16, 32, 65, 130 GOST) instead of the "DIN"-scale for setting the film's sensitivity.
The camera has got an obscure feature: Closing the lens' iris will also close the exposure-meter's iris. In other words: The exposure-meter is coupled mechanically to the lens' iris while most other cameras would have an electrical "coupling" (potentiometer coupled to the lens' iris).

The main differences between the "Super" and the "Super 2" seem to be:

  • Colour: The "Super 2" is black, while the "Super" is grey beige.
  • Remaining film counter: The scale of the "Super 2" shows up to 10m, while the scale on the "Super" ends at 7.5m.
