This is a Single8-camera!

If you want to try Single-8 but don't want to throw down the big bucks for a ZC 1000, these cameras are a great alternative. The lens, while not the sharpest, is decent, and can produce some rich colors. The camera is a manageable weight and well balanced in the hand. The body is mostly metal with some hard plastic and the buttons/trigger have a satisfying "snap" to them, indicative of the great Japanese build quality. There's a built in manual rewinder, and of course the registration is always steady. Prices on Ebay for these can vary from $25-200. They can be had on Japanese websites for only $5-10, but beware the high costs of shipping. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for one in good condition. The Z800 doesn't look as cool imo but it has more speeds to choose from.
