Comments[edit]
This is a Single8-camera!
Fuji sold an underwater-housing for this camera, too. It was called "Marine 8" (like the underwater housing for the Fujica AX100).
There are two versions of this camera: A black one (only sold in Japan) and a silver-black one (mainly sold outside Japan). Besides the different colours, the cameras seem to have the same features. And there's a version with a zoom-lens, called Fujica P2 Zoom.
Watch this item in the Kameramuseum Kurt Tauber.
The camera was sometimes sold together with a "handy viewer":
Reviews[edit]
This might be the lightest and smallest Single-8 camera. It has similar features to the AX100, except this also has a battery power indicator, a small fold-down handle and the exposure reading on the side of the camera. One cool feature is you can actually see the mirror assembly in the lens for the offset viewfinder.
The only reason to get this camera is for the underwater housing. The housing lacks a port for the viewfinder on the back cover and the "wings" that the AX100 housing has, however it does weigh less. I wouldn't pay more than $15 for the camera on it's own and maybe double that for the housing. It's not likely to break because of it's simplicity, but if it does it'll be easy to replace.
