Emdeko EM-8000 is a very simple super 8 camera, with simple run and lock function.
Battery check button on the back with a tiny meter on the left side of the camera, A remote control switch jack and speed selection also on the back side of it. Normal running speed is 18fps and 24fps on SLOW mode.
Aperture reader and control also on the left side of the camera, with the dial pointed to A means Auto, to 0 means off and on M means manual.
Surprisingly this simple low end camera can reconized E64T film as it has a level that need to raise up while insert the film cart. And the level reads the film speed.
The screw on the top of the camera control the internal 85A filter. Screw in = filter off, remove the screww = filter on.
The camera is not easy to focus since it has no split image focusing. Basically it's guessing.
