Chinon 612 XL: Repair
From Super8wiki
How to disassemble this movie camera[edit]
I’ve opened it. It’s actually not that difficult, and you don’t have to do anything with the lens. However there are many tiny screws:
Two on the bottom on the tripod mount.
Two black screws inside the film chamber under the “text-plate”, close to the door.
Four on top under a metal plate on “tripod\lamp” mount.
Two in front under the “Chinon”-text plate.
One underneath the light bulb sign on the filter switch.
And one bigger under the “lock\Release” sign – Small spring and ball here- careful.
Also unscrew that ring that screws the remote control jack to the body.
I think that’s all of them.
