Comments[edit]

The projector was based on the Bolex SM 80 Electronic marketed between 1975 and 1978. The construction of this projector borrows heavily from the Eumig 800 series projectors. Much of the parts and components are identical and most of the accessories are common.

A cheaper version the SM 80 MS (Multitrack) was also marketed. This had an F1.3 15-30mm zoom lens instead of F1.2 and lacked the "Programmatic" feature although a frame counter was fitted.
