It appeared about 1974/75 along with the similar 136 and 148 models with shorter range Schneider zoom lenses. The 156 has single frame,18 and 24 frames/second, There is no macro focussing and the shutter is conventional with an angle of less that 200 degrees.

Comments[edit]

It appeared about 1974/75 along with the similar 136 and 148 models with shorter range Schneider zoom lenses. The 156 has single frame,18 frames/second. It appears to have been superseded by the 156XL in 1976/77 - the only change being the 225 degrees XL shutter and consequent faster film pulldown.
