The CME models are sometimes referred to as "Hi-focus" but these are the same cameras. The Hi-focus is just intended to draw attention to the unusual, may be unique rangefinder viewfinder. The user looks through the eyepiece and sees the normal view. The zoom lens is pushed in towards the camera and the view changes to a coincident image rangefinder equivalent to about 25mm focal length. The zoom lens is focussed in the normal way to align the image together and the lens is released to return to the normal view.
