Super 8 is an 8mm motion picture film format introduced in 1965.

Standard SMPTE 157 specifies the Super-8 camera aperture area as 6.22 x 4.22 millimeters.

Standard SMPTE 154 specifies the projectable image area as 5.31 x 4.01 millimeters.
